Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit Hosts Virtual CBD 101 Series

Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit has partnered with New Standard Cannabis for a 3-part virtual series focused on the history, biology, and benefits of cannabis products. Known for its many benefits and the ever-evolving use of this unique plant, cannabis has been a part of cultures across the world for centuries.

New Standard, a vertically-integrated cannabis company founded in Michigan, will take guests through the journey of cannabis from its History to its Biology, closing out the three-part series with a look at current products, their uses, and the benefits of cannabis for overall wellness and cancer support.

Cannabis has been an integral part of cancer support and recovery for decades. Now, as it has become legalized in cities and states across the US, cancer survivors are able to learn from cannabis experts.
