Road officials laid out 18 projects that will cost roughly $60 million in 2026.
OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — Road officials are planning nearly $60 million worth of road-construction projects in Oakland County in 2026.
The projects include major resurfacing projects, a new roundabout, bridge replacements and gravel projects, according to the Road Commission for Oakland County.
"Once again this year, we’re doing everything we can to spread our funding across as many roads as possible, with numerous safety, pavement-condition and bridge and culvert improvement projects," Road Commission for Oakland County Managing Director Dennis Kolar said. "As always, during construction season, there will be some inconvenience for motorists as we improve the roads, but that short-term pain will result in long-term improvements to the road system."
