Judge Denies Ethan Crumbley's Transfer Request: Reports
Lawyers wanted teen accused in Oxford High School shooting moved to Children's Village, which currently houses zero murder defendants.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — An Oakland County judge has denied Ethan Crumbley's request to be transferred to a youth facility while the 15-year-old awaits trial in the deadly Oxford High School shooting, according to multiple reports.
Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Kwame Rowe issued his ruling Tuesday afternoon, saying that placing Crumbley in a youth facility with other at-risk juveniles "may have a negative impact on other juveniles' progress toward rehabilitation." Crumbley will remain in the Oakland County Jail.
Ethan Crumbley faces 24 charges as an adult, including four counts of premeditated murder and terrorism. Authorities said he opened fire in Oxford High School on Nov. 30, killing four students and injuring seven other people.

During the court the hearing, prosecutors revealed messages Crumble wrote in a journal that was found in his backpack in the high school's bathroom after authorities said he shot up the school. In addition to planning the deadly shooting, prosecutors also said he planned to "stalk, rape, torture and eventually kill a female classmate."
In a separate court hearing for Crumbley's parents, James and Jennifer - who were each charged with four counts of manslaughter in connection to the deadly shooting - prosecutors also revealed excerpts from Crumbley's journal, in which they said every page detailed his plan to carry out the deadly attack.
