Kanye West Reschedules Thursday’s Metro Detroit Concert

AUBURN HILLS, MI — Kanye West has rescheduled a Thursday show at the Palace of Auburn Hills after his wife, Kim Kardashian, was tied up and robbed of $10 million in jewelry in her Paris hotel room.

West, who cited “family concerns” in a statement distributed by promoter Live Nation, has rescheduled his concert at the Palace for Dec. 22. Tuesday’s Philadelphia concert has been moved to Dec. 13. West’s Saint Pablo Tour will resume in Chicago on Friday, Oct. 7.

Existing tickets for both the Detroit and Philadelphia dates will be honored at both rescheduled dates, and ticket holders may also obtain refunds at their point of purchase.

The enigmatic rap superstar cut out of a performance at the Meadows Festival in Queens on Sunday night literally mid-song after being informedtht Kardashian had been robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
