Ladies Night Out Benefits Happy Home and Farm

To be able to assist other moms that have concerns and worries for their children is a way to bring us all together for a common cause.

Get your tickets now for the MOM event of the year: Girls' Night Out “Celebrating Moms” 2015! The event promises to be a dazzling evening of friendship, fashion and fun.

Check out fashions from Village retailers and enjoy special discounts. Each participant will have the chance to win an array of prizes; including gift cards, theatre tickets and even a massage…just to name a few. The evening started off as a simple “shopping” event and out of that came the focus on moms.

“After meeting with the founder of Happy Home and Farm,” stated Shelleen McHale, marketing director of the Village, “I knew we had to tie in the parenting component to the event…it just made sense.” To be able to assist other moms that have concerns and worries for their children is a way to bring us all together for a common cause.

“I have talked with many parents with special needs children, including my own parents, and their biggest concern is: “What will happen to my child when I am no longer here? Who will be their advocate and who will care for them in the same way that we did?”

These families are looking for an advocate who will ensure that their children are thriving and not just surviving. Having a younger sister with special needs, I now understand how great the need really is and I want to be an advocate for not only my sister, but other adults with developmental disabilities as well.” — Andrea Bricknell, Founder.
