ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A ceiling collapse at a Rochester HIlls bar injured several people, including some who required hospitalization, Tuesday night, according to media reports.

The investigation into why the ceiling collapsed is continuing. Fire officials have ruled out a structural problem, but engineers are continuing to investigate the cause.

WDIV-TV’s Jason Colthrop tweeted Tuesday night that the metal bolts on an overhang at the bar broke, causing it to fall. Witnesses reported a bloody scene to Colthrop.
