Lynn LaPlante Seven Performs at Rochester Hills Public Library

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – High energy salsa and other Latin-inspired jazz and dance will be featured at an upcoming Sunday Concert at the Rochester HIlls Public Library.

The Lynn LaPlante Seven, nominated for the past five years for best World Music Band at the Detroit Music Awards, performs at 2 p.m. Jan. 17.

The seven-piece group features saxophone, trumpet and trombone driven by the rhythmic pulse of piano, along with acoustic bass, drums and Latin percussion.
