Madyson Sowell named Avondale High School Top Scholar
Student active in missionary trips makes top grades

Rochester Hills, Michigan resident Madyson Sowell has been named an Avondale High School Top Scholar. Madyson the daughter of Brian and Keli Sowell. As a member of the National Honor Society, she has volunteered numerous hours within the school district and outside of it. In addition, she has participated in short-term missionary trips, each of the last five years. Madyson has been on the Principal’s Honor Roll throughout high school as well as earning an NHS Honorable Mention for high academic achievement. She is a four-year Varsity soccer player, awarded the Scholar Athlete Award each year. She is a mentor in the Avondale LINKS Program and a member of the Spectrum yearbook class. Madyson played travel soccer during the school year and in the summer for Troy Soccer Club. In the fall, she will be attending Oakland University, Honors College for Health Sciences, on a Pre-medicine course of study.
