Man Stabbed Multiple Times At Oakland University In Rochester Hills: Police

Police are looking for two suspects who left the scene in a dark-colored SUV.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A man was injured in a stabbing Thursday night at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, according to police.

The stabbing happened at 8:15 p.m. at the Van Wagoner House on campus, according to police.

When officers arrived, they found the man, who is not a student at the college, suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to police.

He was taken to McLaren Oakland Hospital where he was being prepared for surgery, according to police.

Investigators believe the stabbing happened during a fight. They are looking for two suspects, who left the scene in a dark-colored SUV, according to police.

One suspect was described as a man in his early 20s, standing about 5′8″ to 5′10." He was wearing a black North Face jacket, black pants, white shoes with blue on the back. He had chin-length dreadlocks, according to police.

The second suspect was described as a man in his early 20s, wearing a camouflage jacket with a black hood, black pants, and black shoes. He had curly hair, according to police.

The campus lockdown has been lifted and police said it is safe for resident students to return to normal activities.

Police are still investigating the incident and asked anyone with information about the stabbing to call OUPD at 248-370-3331.
