Man Who Allegedly Exposed Himself to Several Local Women Arraigned

Suspect said he had exposed himself to other women in the Oakland County area. Anyone who encountered him should call the sheriff.

A Rochester Hills man was arraigned Wednesday on charges that he exposed himself on several occasions at a local shopping center in August and September.

Abizer Sakarwala, 28, was charged with two counts of aggravated indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person, felonies punishable by as little as a day or as much as life in prison, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Police said Sakarwala approached several women in a 2003 Lexus RX300 silver SUV in the parking lot of the Village of Rochester Hills and showed his genitals.

During his arraignment, 52-3 District Court Magistrate Marie Soma. Sakarwala set bond at $50,000/cash surety 10 percent. His next court date is 8:30 a.m. Tuesday before Judge Lisa Asadoorian at the 5-23 District Court in Rochester Hills.

Sakarwala has indicated he was involved in other incidents in the same geographic area.
