PORT HUENEME, Calif. – NAVFAC Southwest Lead Planner at PWD Ventura LT Mary Leone received a NAVFAC Command Coin from NAVFAC Commander RADM Bret Muilenburg on July 27 at Naval Base Ventura County. Leone was recognized for leading a multi-disciplinary NAVFAC team and Naval Sea Systems Command Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) staff in the development of a CNO directed, expedited MILCON project for the P777 Directed Energy System Integration Laboratory. Under her leadership, her team met all the requirements during a spring 2017 naval audit of a military construction project, ensuring this critical Research and Development project stays on schedule.
