Mattina, Kent & Gibbons shareholder receives Volunteer of the Year recognition from Rochester Area Youth Assistance

Mattina, Kent & Gibbons, P.C. (MKG), a Michigan-based CPA firm providing audit, accounting, tax and business consulting services to a variety of industries, is pleased to announce shareholder Jenny Lundy, CPA MST, has been named Volunteer of the Year by Rochester Area Youth Assistance (RAYA).

RAYA is a non-profit organization whose goal is to strengthen youth and families in the Rochester community and to reduce the incidence of delinquency, abuse and neglect through community partnerships. Lundy is a member of the RAYA Board of Directors and has been involved with the organization since 2012. Her volunteer activities with RAYA include serving as the current treasurer, chairing various activities and volunteering time to committees.

“Rochester Area Youth Assistance became known to me at a perfect time, just as my two children were reaching the age where peer pressure and social media were entering our lives,” Lundy said. “This organization has taught me and many others what to look out for and how to react to the struggles our kids face today. I am honored to be named Volunteer of the Year as our entire board is very dedicated and works hard every day to be proactive and help the children in our community.”

At MKG, Lundy focuses her practice on accounting and taxation as well as QuickBooks consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and a Masters of Taxation degree, both from Walsh College. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Greater Rochester. Lundy joined MKG in 2002 and was admitted as a shareholder in 2012.
