MedNetOne Health Solutions manager named to Oakland County Executive’s Elite 40 under 40 class of 2017

Andrew Kurecka, manager of outcomes research at MedNetOne, is a member of the 1st graduating class of OU's Master of Public Health Program

Ewa Matuszewski, CEO and co-founder of MedNetOne Health Solutions (MedNetOne), a health care management organization offering infrastructure, clinical and technology services to more than 800 private practice physicians and other independent care providers, announced that Andrew Kurecka, MPH, manager of outcomes research at MedNetOne, has been named to Oakland County Executive Brooks Patterson’s Elite 40 under 40 class of 2017.

Nearly 400 applications and nominations were reviewed by an independent panel of judges in order to identify the top 40 young professionals and thought leaders who live or work in Oakland County. A complete listing of all the honorees and related events can be viewed here.

Kurecka started with MedNetOne in the summer of 2014 as an intern and is a member of the first graduating class (May 2015) of Oakland University’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program. He joined MedNetOne full-time immediately after graduation from OU.

In his role as manager of outcomes research, Kurecka liaisons between providers and payers and is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating new policies and procedures to improve overall quality metrics and patient outcomes.

Prior to joining MedNetOne, Kurecka served as a graduate assistant performing epidemiology research in the OU health sciences department. As a graduate assistant, he contributed to a scholarly article that was submitted for publication titled, A Health Profile of Iraqi Refugees in Michigan. In addition to his MPH degree, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences and exercise science from Oakland University.

Kurecka is a resident of Auburn Hills.
