Metro Detroit Man Takes Nap With Two Giant Pythons: See Video

UTICA, MI — A metro Detroit man is going viral after he shared a social media video of himself sleeping with two giant pythons.

Bryan Barczyk, who runs The Reptarium, a reptile zoo in Utica, garners a lot of social media attention by educating viewers about reptiles.

The Instagram post, which can be seen here, of Barczyk taking a nap while the two giant pythons slithered over him, received over one million views and drew attention from as far away as India.

"Sometimes after a long day, taking a nap with your favorites is a must! I can’t be the only one," the video caption reads.

Barczyk also receives a lot of attention from his YouTube page, where he commonly posts education videos about reptiles, such as showing viewers what it's like to get bitten by a rattlesnake. The video has over 2.3 million views from his 3 million subscribers.

Barczyk is not the first person, or metro Detroiter for that matter, to scare the internet in an attempt to showcase the python's gentleness.

In 2015, a White Lake man shared a video of his toddler rolling on the floor with a 13-foot Burmese python named Nay-Nay.
