Missing Rochester Woman Found Dead In Tuscola County: Police

Police do not expect any foul play, as investigators wait for an autopsy to be completed by the county medical examiner, police said.

TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI — An elderly Rochester woman, who was missing since late June, was found dead in her car in Tuscola County, according to police.

Police said officers found Mary Agnes Sullivan, 79, dead inside her car that was in a ditch in Almer Township, just north of Caro.

Police do not expect any foul play, as investigators wait for an autopsy to be completed by the county medical examiner, police said. Police said the family has been notified.

"The Rochester Police Department extends our deepest sympathy to the Sullivan family," police said in a statement. "The Sullivan family asked us to extend their thanks to all who have expressed their concern and for all the efforts made to locate Mary."

Sullivan was last seen leaving her home in a gray Honda HRV Michigan plate DYU-4806 on June 28 or 29, police said.

Her vehicle was last seen driving recklessly in the Huron County/Bad Axe area on June 29 around 6 p.m., police said. Officials said officers searched the area and did not find her car.
