Mother, Daughter Found Dead Inside Rochester Hills Apartment: Police

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A mother and daughter were found dead Monday night inside a Rochester Hills apartment complex, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.

Police found a 75-year-old woman and her 50-year-old daughter dead from gunshot wounds inside the complex on Stratford Street near Walton and Adams roads.

Officials said officers talked with the husband/father of the victims, who said both women suffered from ongoing medical issues. He went to check on their wellbeing, officials said.

Police believe the shooting may be a murder-suicide, but are still investigating to rule out any foul play.

Officials also said the daughter has had a history of suicide attempts.
