  1. New court date for man accused of killing Oxford dad in mistaken identity case. Marcus Nathan, 36, is charged with open murder and possession of a felony in connection with the April 20 shooting that killed Dennis Kendrick in the parking lot of the Abbey Ridge Apartment Homes complex in Oxford Township. His new court date was over to June 2. (The Oakland Press)
  2. Oakland County Attorney Clarence Dass, 36, died Sunday after battling colon cancer, just days before the anticipated date of his twins' birth. Dass was the founder and manager of The Dass Law Firm, located in Bloomfield Hills. His law firm specialized in family, criminal and juvenile cases. (WDIV)
  3. Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan defended his stance and said he did not knowingly reveal a confidential FBI informant and alert a target of an ongoing investigation of bribery involving towing contractors in the city. (Detroit News)
