Oakland County Man Fatally Stabs Neighbor During Argument: Sheriff

PONTIAC, MI — A 50-year-old Pontiac man is facing charges after fatally stabbing his neighbor Wednesday morning, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.

Officers found the 41-year-old Pontiac man stabbed to death at 8:15 a.m. outside a home on the 100 block of Ypsilanti Ave. which is between Walton Boulevard and Columbia Avenue, according to the sheriff's office.

The 50-year-old Pontiac man was arrested in connection with the stabbing shortly afterward near the corner of Baldwin Avenue and Walton Boulevard, according to the sheriff's office.

Investigators believe the two men got into an argument before the fatal stabbing.

Sheriff's officials expect detectives to turn over their investigation for charges as soon as Thursday, according to the sheriff's office.
