A new ranking by the website study.com places Oakland University among the nation’s top colleges and universities for degree programs in human resources.
Oakland is ranked 18th out of 50 schools on the list and is recognized for its Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management and Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Development programs.
Study.com evaluated hundreds of schools for the list and selected Oakland University based on academic and career resources for human resources students, the quality of education, and program accessibility, among other factors.

The ranking specifically cited OU’s "small class sizes and mentorships from highly experienced lecturers” as well as “opportunities for internships, field studies, and HR-related consultation activities within the surrounding communities."
Oakland offers human resources degree programs at its Rochester campus, as well as at its Macomb County locations: the Anton/Frankel Center in Mount Clemens and the Macomb University Center in Clinton Township.
