Oxford High School students walked out of class Thursday afternoon in support of the victims in the Uvalde, Texas school shooting.

OXFORD, MI — Oxford High School students walked out of class Thursday afternoon in support of the victims in the Uvalde, Texas school shooting.
Videos posted to social media showed the students forming a "U" on the school's blue football field in a sign of support for the Uvalde community. The students were also protesting for more gun control laws, according to WWJ News.
A gunman entered Robb Elementary School Tuesday and opened fire, killing at least 19 children and two teachers, authorities said. The gunman was killed during the massacre, officials said.

The Robb Elementary shooting comes just days before the six-month anniversary of the deadly Oxford school shooting, when authorities said a 15-year-old student opened fire in the high school, killing four students and wounding seven other people.
