Popular Oakland County Holiday Light Display Returns Friday
This year's light display will feature more than 2 million lights and a 32-foot-tall animated Barbie, according to a news release.
CLARKSTON, MI — A popular Oakland County holiday light display returns Friday.
The Magic of Lights drive-through experience will light up Pine Knob in Clarkston with more than 2 million lights and 12.6 miles of light cord, according to a news release.
It will also include a 32-foot-tall animated Barbie, a 200 foot-long light tunnel and a Bigfoot-branded monster truck, among other attractions.

Starting Friday, the event runs 5:30-10 p.m. every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas day, when it runs from 5:30-9 p.m.
Tickets must be purchased online at magicoflights.com. They start at $17.50 per car and $50 for limos and party buses.

"We are excited to return Magic of Lights to the Clarkston community for the fourth season as it's become a part of the local annual holiday tradition," CEO of Family Entertainment Holdings, LLC Ken Hudgens said. "Our innovative creative team has designed a drive-through holiday wonderland light experience that promises to dazzle and delight guests of all ages."
