Prepare to Nail the First Job or Internship with Intern Bootcamp
High School and college graduates can win a Scholarship to The Mettle Foundry's Summer Intern Bootcamp.

As young adults and parents across the country prepare for graduation season, one Metro Detroit company is offering a scholarship designed to help students nail their first job.
Beginning May 29, The Mettle Foundry hosts its TMF Intern Bootcamp designed to train early-career professionals, college grads, and ambitious high school upper-classmen for the real workforce world they are about to experience. Each session, or career simulation, at Intern Bootcamp teaches the tips and behaviors not taught in a classroom but that are expected in the workplace.
The weeklong sessions will include structured, facilitated workplace simulations as well as “common sense” tools including dealing with difficult co-workers, workplace etiquette, setting up a conference call, and preparing a business presentation. Intern Bootcamp will also feature workshops and feedback on resume building, interviewing, and other early career experiences.

Beginning May 8, students are invited to enter the Intern Bootcamp Free Week Contest. Entry is simple. Record and share to The Mettle Foundry’s Facebook page a video of why you need Intern Bootcamp. The video with the most likes will receive a free week of Intern Bootcamp this summer.
“Intern Bootcamp will be the last camp you need to purchase for your student,” said Dr. Sandy Fiaschetti, Co-Founder of The Mettle Foundry and Magnet Consulting. “Over the years, my family has spent thousands on summer and sports camps for my children. They were interesting enough, but yhis is the one that I want to make sure they don’t miss. Intern Bootcamp is the one that will really set them on a successful course for working.”
