State Rep. Michael Webber wrapped up his annual March is Reading Month tour by reading to over 300 students at four elementary schools in Rochester and Rochester Hills.
March is Reading Month is an educational event designed to recognize the importance of reading in children’s future success. To celebrate, Rep. Webber visited classrooms at McGregor, Meadow Brook, Brewster and North Hill elementary schools to read to students and answer their many questions.
“Reading is an imperative skill to the growth and development of children,” Rep. Webber said. “One of the most important things we can do for our children is read to them.”
