Rochester Area Eatery Among 2022’s All-Star U.S. Restaurants: Doordash

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI — A Shelby Township restaurant was recognized as among the best in the nation for its delicious food and top-notch service, according to delivery app Doordash.

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill on 23 Mile Road, between Schoenherr and Van Dyke roads made Doordash's "Most-Loved All-Star Restaurants" list, which recognizes 100 top-rated eateries that excel in food quality, service, reliability, and overall experience.

The restaurant excels in serving specialty greek dishes, such as Souvlaki, Gyros and Athenian Burgers. It was also ranked as a top new and emerging franchise by Entrepreneur magazine in 2022. The restaurant also has locations in Troy and West Bloomfield.

All-Star restaurants are the top-rated in Doordash’s Most Loved program, according to a company release. In order to be a Most-Loved All-Star, a restaurant had to be among the highest-rated on Doordash and achieved Most-Loved status for at least 10 out of 12 months from April 2021 to April 2022.
