Rochester Garden Club Greens Market was Huge Success
With more than 500 customers in our new venue, the Rochester Garden Club is grateful for such wonderful support from the community.
Members of the Rochester Garden Club wish to thank everyone involved with our very successful Greens Market this year. Our customers, who turned out in record numbers, purchased hundreds of hand crafted arrangements, fresh greens, crafts and homemade delicacies. Proceeds from the Greens Market allow us to support local conservation efforts, fund college scholarships for high school seniors who major in environmental studies, offer scholarships to middle school students to attend a 4-H summer camp program, support the Van Hoosen Farms Children’s Garden, offer every pre-kindergartener in the Rochester school system a lesson in gardening, perform beautification plantings around the community every spring, and so much more!
We want to offer a special thanks to the staff of the Rochester Schools Administration Center for giving us an opportunity to run our sale in their building. The spacious and well-lit Harrison Room gave us the perfect setting to display our lovely holiday arrangements, crafts and gourmet items. Our club members and regular customers all appreciated the extra room and lovely ambiance.
