Rochester Hills' Authors Fair Will Feature 20 Authors

ROCHESTER-ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Book lovers and writers from across Metro Detroit can meet some of their favorite authors at the third annual Authors Fair in Rochester Hills.

The event is hosted by the Rochester Writers and the Rochester Hills Public Library, and will be held on Saturday, Nov. 27 at the library’s Multipurpose Room from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"We have an exciting line-up of authors for the event this year," said Michael Dwyer from Rochester Writers. "From first-time authors with their first novel to established authors who have several books. With many different genres, we're sure to have a good read for any literary fan. And, it's a perfect opportunity to find a gift for someone on your holiday list this year."

The event will include a mix of twenty traditionally published and self-published authors.

Library director Juliane Morian said public libraries act as community centers that "foster productivity and creativity."

"Libraries provide space for individuals to be productive in their work and hobby pursuits," Morian said. "This annual event is an example of how libraries inspire reading by connecting writers and readers within the community."

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. More information can be found at calendar.rhpl.org.
