Rochester Hills Eye Care Center Hosts Community Appreciation Open House

Formerly Orion Troy Ophthalmology Associates, Colombo Eye Care provides ophthalmic expertise and experience to the Oakland County community. Located in Rochester Hills, the eye care center’s new name carries with it the same trusted care the community has come to trust.

The eye care center invites the community to a Fall Open House on September 19 from 4-7pm to meet with staff, tour the Rochester Hills office. Special promotions on services, raffle prizes, wine and appetizers will be available throughout the event. Call the office to RSVP for this exciting event.

The physicians at Colombo Eye Care have more than 30 years of ophthalmic experience, specializing in surgical and emergency eye care. Medical Director Dr. Charles Colombo is both a licensed physician and surgeon with specialized ophthalmology training from the University of Ottawa and was Chief of Ophthalmology at William Beaumont Hospital Troy for 25 years.

Recently welcoming Dr. Megan Heil to the practice, Colombo Eye Care now also offers Botox and Latisse to patients and clients. Dr. Heil is a board certified ophthalmologist originally from Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  She received a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Physiology in 2005 at Florida State University.  She then completed medical school at the Kansas City University of Medicine of Biosciences in 2009.  Dr. Heil went on to complete her internship and residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan, recently graduating in 2013.  She served as chief resident in ophthalmology her senior year of residency. 

Expanding its practice allows Colombo Eye  Care to serve more patients with a wider array of services. Now serving patients solely in its Rochester Hills office, Colombo Eye Care welcomes new patients as well as many who will be coming from their former Orion Township office.
