Rochester Hills No. 9 on Money's List of Best Places to Live 2014
Rochester Hills was listed No.9 on the list of 50 Best Places to Live 2014 by Money of small US cities with populations ranging from 50,000
The Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce announced today that Time Inc.’s Money magazine has named Rochester Hills one of the country’s best places to live in 2014. Rochester Hills was listed No.9 on the list of 50 Best Places to Live 2014 by Money of small US cities with populations ranging from 50,000 to 300,000.
Narrowing the list from 781 US cities, Money evaluated data regarding the local economy, median incomes, education scores, real estate prices, crime and many other factors. Reporters were sent to the top 35 ranking cities to further investigate quality of life, arts and culture, diversity, sense of community and other intangible categories.
Sheri Heiney, the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce President said, “The Chamber is so proud that Rochester Hills has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Live in 2014. The only other Michigan community selected was Ann Arbor coming it at No.43.
