Rochester Junior Women's Club Donates to Furniture Bank

34 Sheet Sets Provided to Furniture Bank of Southeastern MI

The Rochester Junior Women's Club hosted an old-fashioned Speakeasy to benefit the Furniture Bank of Southeastern Michigan. The price of admission was a twin sheet set.

Robert Boyle, Executive Director of the Furniture Bank noted "The Furniture Bank provides 70 local kids with a bed every month, and new bedding helps make sure they're sleeping in warmth and comfort".

RJWC President, Mary Anderson, presented 34 sheet sets at the RJWC February Board meeting to Boyle and to Lead “Bedding for Kids” Volunteer Tami Jelinek. She stated "we want every child to feel good about the bed they are receiving, and that's why we're giving them bedding as well".
