Rochester Rotary Club Establishes Endowment Fund for Community Efforts
Rochester Rotary Club has established an endowment fund for Rochester Rotary Charities to ensure its good works can continue in perpetuity.

Rochester, MI – Founded in 1954, the Rochester Rotary Club has spent over 60 years giving back to the local community. From service projects to charitable donations, the “Service Above Self” motto can be seen in action all year round.
While the Rotary Club is technically not a charity organization, it manages a separate sister entity called “Rochester Rotary Charities, Inc.” As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, registered with the State of Michigan, Rochester Rotary Charities is what receives and distributes all donations for the club.
To kick off 2017, the Rotary Club has established an endowment fund for Rochester Rotary Charities to ensure its good works can continue in perpetuity. “From supporting the local Boy and Girl Scouts to Leader Dogs for the Blind to Rochester Community House and the Rotary Gateway Park, Rochester Rotary Charities is an integral part of the Rochester Community,” said Rotary member Bill Ebinger. “We’re just so proud to have created this permanent entity so that our grandchildren's grandchildren can benefit from it for generations to come.”
