Rochester’s Chapman House Makes Cut for 2017 Restaurant of the Year
The Detroit Free Press is counting down Top 10 Best New Restaurants in Metro Detroit this week.
ROCHESTER, MI — The Detroit Free Press is counting down its Top 10 Best New Restaurants in Metro Detroit this week, and the latest to make the cut is Chapman House in Rochester. Two other suburban restaurants – Otus Supply and Conserva, both in Ferndale — have also made the list.
The big reveal of the 2017 Restaurant of the Year comes Friday at freep.com/roy.
Why the critics loved Chapman House: The elegant atmosphere is a draw, but it was the culinary creations of executive chef Chris Carson and his sous chef and brother, Dan, “that make Chapman House a gem,” the Free Press wrote.
