Several Oakland Township Board candidates provide their position on an important issue facing Township

Ten of the fifteen candidates provided their opinion regarding the form of governance in Oakland Township

The “Oakland Township Watchers” editors have reached out to the 2016 Oakland Township Board candidates for their ‘position’ on an important issue facing our Township. The issue pertains to the form of governance Oakland Township will possess in the future. Do they support the “Board/Manager” form of governance that we currently have, or do they support the full time “Strong Supervisor” form of governance that current Supervisor Gonser has been proposing since being elected in 2012?
