Siddharth Saravanan honored as Top Scholar
Avondale High School recognizes top academic, athletic and leadership achievement

Avondale High School Class of 2020 Top Scholar Siddharth Saravanan resides in Troy, Michigan with his parents Saravanan Chockalingam and Nirmaladevi Elumalai. Siddharth has taken all core AP classes in high school and was a member of the National Honor Society where he earned the Scholar Award, and the Spanish Honor Society. In addition, he was in the Diversity Club, the Ethics and Philosophy Club, the Men of Avondale Chorus, the Concert Choir, Leadership, the Super Smash Brothers Gaming Club, and the Director of Technology for the Class Board. Siddharth was also on the Varsity tennis team where he served as Team Captain, the Varsity golf team, the Men’s Volleyball Club, and a member of a USTA year-round tennis team. Siddharth was an OAA Scholar Athlete, All-League First Team Athlete, and received multiple Avondale Youth Assistance Senatorial and Congressional Awards. In 2019, Siddharth attended Boys State Summer Camp and was elected to a leadership position. He is a Co-Founder/Chairman of the non-profit organization EVOLVEK12, a member of the Bubble Bee Bistro non-profit coffee shop, and the Vice President of the Rochester/Auburn Hills Community Coalition. In the fall, Siddharth will be attending the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
