  1. Troy-based investor Mario Kiezi buys vacant Sears store at Lakeside Mall. Although he didn't reveal the cost, he hopes to have the two-story, 350,000-square-foot structure up soon. "Our plans are undetermined at this time," Kiezi said. "We're hopeful to have it activated in 2023." (Oakland Press)
  2. A Tigers fan walking to Comerica Park with a friend fell through a decades-old pedestrian bridge in Detroit, and the bridge reportedly remained open for days until a newspaper inquired about the incident. (Detroit Patch)

There will be an Oakland County collection drive, aiming to get bikes to local kids on Saturday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. One of the locations collecting donations is Oakland University P3 Parking Lot: Located on the corner of Walton Boulevard and Squirrel Road in front of the Human Health Building.
