West Middle School Brings Disney Magic to the State with 'Beauty and The Beast Jr.'

One of the most beloved fairytales of all time comes to life as West Middle School presents Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” at Rochester High School from Thursday, Jan. 8 to Saturday, Jan. 10.

The cast and crew are made up of over 120 talented students working on stage and behind the scenes to create this magical performance. The set includes an enchanted castle that is over 40 feet wide, hand painted murals, and the “magical” enchanted rose in the West Wing. Many dedicated hours have gone into making this show one that all will remember.

West Middle School and the show’s directors, Tara Hammen and Kim Kelly, invite all of the community to their guests and come celebrate the magic by attending one of the performances.

There will be a special “Royal Tea with Belle” at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10 at Rochester High School. Belle will visit with guests at the tea along with other enchanted friends from the castle. Guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite Disney prince/princess and to bring their cameras

Show times are:

7 p.m., Thursday-Friday, Jan. 8-9,

12 p.m. and 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10

All performances will be held at the Rochester High School Auditorium located at 180 S. Livernois, Rochester Hills. Tickets are available online at: www.ShowTix4U.com. Tickets are $8/Students, $10/Adults, and $8/person for the Royal Tea.
