Whitmer, Dixon Debate In Rochester Hills For Last Time Before Election
The two candidates will debate top issues, such as the economy, inflation and abortion at their final debate. Here's how to watch.

MICHIGAN — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Republican gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon will face off Tuesday night in their second and final debate before Election Day on Nov. 8.
The debate will kick off at 7 p.m. at Oakland University in Rochester Hills on WXYZ (Channel 7), WXMI-TV (Fox 17) and WSYM-TV (Fox 47). Multiple outlets will also live stream the debate.
In their first debate, Whitmer argued that Dixon holds "dangerous" positions, including disputing the outcome of the 2020 election and seeking to impose harsh restrictions on abortion. Dixon, on the hand, attacked Whitmer’s education and economic policies and her handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Both candidates are getting outside in the political realm. Former President Donald Trump endorsed Dixon, a political commentator and businesswoman from Norton Shores, while former President Barack Obama plans to campaign in Detroit for Whitmer and other democrats.
More than 400,000 Michigan voters have already turned in their absentee ballots, citing the economy, inflation and abortion as the top issues.
