Woman Alleges Date Arranged on Craigslist Ended in Sexual Assault
A Detroit woman said she was sexually assaulted in Rochester Hills by a man she met through Craigslist.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – A 25-year-old Detroit woman told authorities Saturday that she was sexually assaulted about 10:40 p.m. Saturday after meeting a 42-year-old Rochester Hills man for a date arranged on Craigslist.

The woman told the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office deputy who met her at the 7-Eleven store at 2600 block of Rochester Road that she wasn’t physically injured and didn’t require medical attention, according to a report from the sheriff’s office.
She said the alleged assault took place in the 60 block of Village Circle.
The victim was taken to the Rochester Hills substation to meet with a detective. The incident remains under investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
