The Women’s Fund presents grant to Gary Burnstein Health Clinic

The Women’s Fund recently presented Gary Burnstein Health Clinic with a $1250 grant for their Women’s Health Clinic Program.

Gary Burnstein Health Clinic covers the cost of healthcare screenings, pap smears (cervical cancer screening) to uninsured women. The grant check was presented to Executive Director Justin Brox by Lori Roscoe, Women's Fund Board Member.

The Women’s Fund grant will help to cover comprehensive medical and dental care, as well as pharmaceutical support to uninsured members in our communities.

Over the past 16 years, the Women's Fund has donated more than $300,000 to organizations helping women. The fund is a permanently endowed fund owned and administered by the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester. Through grant-making, the Fund provides ongoing and future support for programs that aid women while preserving and managing its donations in perpetuity by spending only the fund's income and annual earnings.
