1 Dead After Head-On Crash In Oakland County: Police
A 77-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision Saturday in Madison Heights, according to police.
MADISON HEIGHTS, MI — A 77-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision Saturday in Madison Heights, according to police.
Police said the woman was driving east on 14 Mile Road between John R and Dequindre Roads at 4:30 p.m. when the driver of a westbound vehicle crossed the centerline and smashed into the woman's car.
The woman was killed in the crash, police said. Police did not immediately identify her.

The driver was of the westbound vehicle was cooperating with investigators, police said.
Investigators do not know if drugs, alcohol or distracted driving played a role in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
