5 Men Rob Royal Oak Pharmacy, Police Make Arrests: Officials
Police said the robbers walked into the pharmacy and immediately demanded controlled substances. No injuries were reported in the robbery.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Five men were arrested after police said they robbed a Royal Oak pharmacy on Friday.
Police said three men walked into the Dynamic Care Pharmacy, located at 4119 W. 13 Mile Road at 9:30 a.m. and immediately demanded the controlled substances. All three men were wearing black ski masks, police said.
The robbers put the drugs into boxes and then ran out of the store, police said. Officials did not report any injuries during the robbery.

"The suspects put the controlled prescription pills into boxes and fled on foot from the business," Carter said in a news release Tuesday. "No weapon was seen during the incident."
Using security cameras, police saw the three robbers get into a red Chevrolet Trailblazer with two other people in the SUV, police said.

With the help of nearby police departments, including Detroit, Troy and Livonia, Royal Oak police found four suspects at a house in Detroit, and the fifth suspect a short time later in Redford, police said.
"This is a great example of teamwork and collaboration between the Royal Oak Police Department and our law enforcement partners," said Royal Oak Police Chief Michael Moore in a statement. "In just under four hours, all five suspects were taken into custody without incident."
The suspects were arraigned Monday before Royal Oak 44th District Judge Derek Meinecke.
Laron Kemail-Pierre Woods, 29, of Redford, was charged with three counts of unarmed robbery, and one count of possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $250,000.00.
At the time of his arrest, Woods had eight outstanding misdemeanor warrants, as well as convictions for driving while license suspended and disturbing the peace.
Broderick Deonne Gibson, 26, of Detroit, was charged with three counts of unarmed robbery, and one count of possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $250,000.00.
Gibson has sixteen outstanding misdemeanor warrants with convictions for larceny in a building and operating without a license on person.
Tejaan Tupree Simmons, 23, of Redford, was charged with three counts of unarmed robbery, and one count of possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $250,000.00.
Simmons has an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and a conviction for operating while impaired.
Jonal Thomas Lake, 26, of Redford, was charged with three counts of unarmed robbery, and one count of possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $250,000.00.
Lake has eight outstanding warrants and a conviction for fleeing and eluding.
Anthony Eugene Rogers, 31, of Inkster, was charged with three counts of unarmed robbery, and one count of possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $100,000.
Rogers has no criminal history.
Each unarmed robbery charge carries a 15-year felony, and possession of a controlled substance is a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
All the suspects are set to appear before Judge Meinecke for a probable cause hearing at 11 a.m. August 19.
