Taylor appointed president of Michigan Pharmacists Association
Sandra Taylor, director of Pharmacy and administrator, Operations at Beaumont Hospital, Wayne has been appointed president of the Michigan Pharmacists Association for 2018. Taylor is a Farmington Hills resident.

Walker recipient 'Donation Champion' by Gift of Life Michigan
Susan Walker, social worker, Multi-Organ Transplant Program, Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, was recognized for her efforts to encourage employees to sign up for the Michigan Organ Donor Registry maintained by the Secretary of State. Beaumont Health recently finished second place in Gift of Life Michigan's "Hospital Challenge."

Zatina named 'Arab American Business Woman of the Year'
Mary Zatina, senior vice president of Government Relations and Community Affairs, was recently recognized as the "Arab American Business Woman of the Year" by the Arab American Business Women's Council. The award is given to women in leadership positions who have a record of community activism, involvement and leadership.
Laveroni awarded medal by American College of Osteopathic Surgeons
Eugene W. Laveroni Jr., D.O., a vascular surgeon at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills for 32 years, received the "Orel F. Martin Medal" from the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. The award recognizes his outstanding contributions to medicine, the college and the osteopathic profession.
O'Malley receives ACHE Service Award
Constance O'Malley, president, Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills, has been chosen by the American College of Healthcare Executives and its Midwest Chapter to receive an ACHE Service Award. The award acknowledges her commitment to health care management through the performance of activities and services that further professional excellence.
Chaiyasate recipient of ASRM's '2018 Best Microsurgical Save of the Year'
Kongkrit Chaiyasate, M.D., reconstructive microsurgeon, Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, was recently recognized by the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery at its annual conference with the "2018 Best Mircrosurgical Save of the Year" award.
Robinson-Dunn elected fellow by American Academy of Microbiology
Barbara Robinson-Dunn, Ph.D., technical director, Clinical Microbiology Laboratory, Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak was elected a new fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology. The annual election is a highly selective peer-review process, based on records of scientific achievement and original contributions that have advanced microbiology.
