Beaumont Health welcomes senior vice president of financial opera
In his new role, Chris Harrison will work to develop an integrated financial plan for Beaumont Health's corporate division.

John Kerndl, Beaumont Health executive vice president and chief financial officer, has announced the appointment of Chris Harrison as senior vice president of financial operations and corporate finance.
In this role, he will work to develop and administer an integrated financial plan for Beaumont Health's corporate division, focusing on performance improvement in responsiveness, operations and financial communication.
Harrison brings nearly 20 years' experience in the accounting and health care industries to Beaumont.
He came to Michigan from LifePoint Health, headquartered in Brentwood, TN. He was vice president and operations controller at the health system, responsible for oversight of all aspects of operations for its 72 hospitals, including net revenue calculations and analytics, accounts payable, payroll, financial and operational reporting, as well as annual budgeting.
He also served at Hospital Corporation of America, where he was the senior manager, Internal Audit, before being promoted to director of Financial Analytics. He previously worked as a staff auditor at Healthcare Assurance; a staff accountant at National Renal Alliance in Franklin, TN; and a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch.
A Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Net Revenue Analyst, Harrison earned his bachelor of science degree at Tennessee Wesleyan University in Athens, TN, and a Master of Accountancy degree with a health care emphasis from Belmont University in Nashville.
