BREAKING: 'Detroit Love' Techno Artists in Paris OK

Renowned Detroit techno artists were to have performed at a nightclub in Paris, but the show was canceled as terrorist attacks rock city.

A performance featuring renowned Detroit DJs scheduled for a Paris nightclub was canceled during a night of deadly terrorist attacks around the city.

Several renowned Detroit DJs were to have performed at the “Detroit Love” party at Virgo club, including Carl Craig, Kevin Saunderson, Terrence Parker, Niko Marks, Octave One and DJ Stingray.

The Detroit Free Press reports the six are top names in Detroit techno, a homegrown dance music genre that has attracted audiences from around the world. They’re all safe, according to social media posts.

“Due to the crisis in Paris the @detroitlove show tonight has been canceled,” Saunderson posted on Facebook. “I pray for the family and (their) love ones ... God help us all.”

In a tweet, Craig wrote: “We’re safe. Our hearts are with our Parisian brothers and sisters.”
