Feds Raid Gas Stations Along 8 Mile

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement reportedly hauling out inventory by the truckload.

METRO DETROIT, Mich. – Eight gas stations have been raided and no arrests have been made in a federal investigation taking place along Eight Mile Road in Metro Detroit, according to media reports.

It’s unclear what authorities with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement are seizing, but cases of water, Red Bull beverage and tires were among the items loaded into rental trucks at a Citgo gas station in Southfield, WXYZ-TV reports.

The TV station quoted ICE officials, who said all of the raids relate to one criminal investigation.
