Calling All Marching Band Alumni!

Did you march for Royal Oak High School, Dondero High School, Kimball High School or even the first Royal Oak High School?

If so, join this year's Royal Oak High School Marching Band in their homecoming performance on Oct. 5.

Those planning to participate must send an email to jensend@royaloakschools.com as soon as possible. In the subject line include: “Alumni Request followed by your name and instrument." (Example: Alumni Request from Joe Cool—Trumpet)

Include any requests in the body of the email, along with your contact information and year of graduation. Requests to borrow instruments will be granted as they are available, on a first come first served basis.

The halftime song is Chicago’s 25 or 6 to 4. Music will be available upon request.

Here is the Oct. 5 schedule:

• 4 p.m.: Check-in Rm. 313 (ROHS Band Room)
• 4:30 p.m.: On-field rehearsal
• 5 p.m.: Rehearsal with Raven Band
• 5:30 p.m.: Tailgate in the band room parking lot
• 6:30 p.m.: Band moves to stadium
• 7 p.m.: Game time

There is no fee to participate, but donations will be accepted with appreciation.
