METRO DETROIT, MI – Now is the time to check your recipes and ensure you have all your ingredients for the Christmas feast.

Many regional grocery stores will close early on Thursday, Christmas Eve, and be closed Christmas Day.

Here’s a list of holiday hours for several stores, taken from their websites and the Holiday Shopping Hours website:

Busch’s Fresh Food Market: Stores open until 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, and closed on Christmas Day.

Hollywood Markets: Stores open until 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, and closed on Christmas Day.

Meijer stores and gas stations: Stores cose 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, and reopen at 6 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 26. Meijer Pharmacies will close at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and return to regular hours on Dec. 26.

Kroger stores: Most stores are open until 6 p.m. on Dec. 24; all stores closed on Christmas, Dec. 25. Pharmacy hours vary.

Save-A-Lot: Stores closed on Christmas Day

Target: Most stores are open until 11 p.m. on Dec. 24; closed on Christmas, Dec. 25.

Walmart: Stores close at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24; stores closed on Christmas, Dec.25.

Whole Foods Market: Stores will close at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24; all stores are closed on Christmas.

Costco: Stores open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 24; all stores closed on Christmas.
