Detroit Zoo, Belle Isle Nature Center​ To Close Amid Extreme Cold

Guests who purchased a ticket to visit the zoo will have their ticket honored for a future visit.

"The safety of our guests and the animals who call the Detroit Zoo and Belle Isle Nature Center home is our highest priority," DZS said in a statement. "Essential team members, including our dedicated animal care staff, will remain on-site to ensure the animals continue to receive the exceptional care they need."
