Dip It for Kids at Dairy Queen March 19
A fundraiser during Free Cone Day to support the programs of Corewell Health Children's
Participating Dairy Queen restaurants throughout Southeast Michigan are celebrating the first day of spring by providing fans with one small, soft-serve vanilla cone on Free Cone Day, Thursday, March 19, 2026.
Participating DQ locations will also host a Dip It for Kids campaign, which provides fans an opportunity to add a dip or sprinkles to their DQ cones for just $1. The additional dollar, as well as any other donations collected at Southeast Michigan Dairy Queen locations that day, will be donated to help fund cutting-edge health care equipment and other program needs for pediatric patients at Corewell Health Children’s, a Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) member hospital.
Dairy Queen’s famous original cones are available in vanilla, chocolate or twist soft serve. There are three sizes that retail from $3.79 to $4.89. During the Dip It for Kids campaign, anyone receiving a free small vanilla cone, or purchasing a larger cone, can add a dipped topping or sprinkles for just $1. Hard-shell coating flavors available may include chocolate, cherry and butterscotch.
