Metro Detroiters love the many diverse flavors of Asian food. From sushi to General Tso’s chicken to chicken tikka masala and everything in between, we all have our favorite dishes that leave us weak with anticipation. Imagine for a moment an event where many ethnicities of Asia cuisine are all represented and all available for your dining enjoyment under one roof for one evening. Imagine no further. This Thursday, July 13, from 6 pm to 9:30 pm, hundreds will gather at the Royal Oak Farmers Market for the 2nd Annual Greater Detroit AsiaFest.
The 2nd Annual Greater Detroit AsiaFest offers more than just great food though. Cultural dance performances will be interspersed amongst sets by our DJ. Guests can explore fun and unique finds among our nearly 20 shopping vendors or get a henna design from one of our talented artists. Children can bounce the evening away in our bounce house. The fun will be simply nonstop at this flavorful event.
Participating restaurants and caterers include Indo Indonesian Restaurant, Mamang Vietnamese Cuisine, Inyo Restaurant and Lounge, The Tandoors Bar & Grill, Teriyaki Madness, Krishna Restaurant and Catering, Wok to You Catering and Desi Taka Northern Indian Cuisine.
