Driver Dies After I-75 Car Crash In Royal Oak: Police

ROYAL OAK, MI — A driver died Sunday night after a car crash on Interstate 75 in Royal Oak, Michigan State Police said.

State troopers said the driver was speeding at 11:30 p.m. when entering Interstate 75 from eastbound Interstate 696, where they rear-ended another car.

Police said the driver was initially communicating with first responders, but then lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital, where he died.

There were no other injuries in the crash, officials said.
